My first ever attempt at using Oil Pastels. I have two takeways from this.

1. The Paper needs to be decent for oil pastels (and not too small)

2. The Oil Pastels themselves need to be of decent quality.

I’m not sure if I found this hard due to my lack of experience, or the quality of the materials, but it didn’t work quite they way I thought it would.

First attempt at some Soft Pastels, found this much easier than the oil pastels for blending, although I think it would be difficult adding detail with the pastels.
