Proteus Magazine

So, when I was at secondary school, around about 13, I did an Art Project where I drew this character using a magazine reference, and did a full airbrush background etc. It was probably one of the best pieces of art I ever did, and it got put on a wall in the corridor. Alas, when I left school, I never got the piece back. At the time, I wasn’t too bothered, but damn, I really wish I had it now. I managed to find a copy of the magazine, and I have recreated it using pencil, ink and markers (I don’t have an appropriate set up for using an Air Brush (yet 😀).

I have to say, this drawing has now become one of my favourite pieces.
